Tarmachan Mountaineering are now  in close partnership with Spanish Highs to offer you our guiding services in Spain which will be fully supported by Spanish Highs who have been organizing airport pick ups, transport and baggage transfers for many years now. Spanish Highs also run rock climbing, scrambling ski touring and snowshoeing holidays in many areas of Spain and even South America.

Trekking across the Jebel Sharo, Dec 2007

Morocco is a fascinating country and has many beautiful mountains, the High Atlas are probably the most well known, this area includes the highest peak in North Africa, Jebel Toubkal. The area where we trek is called the Jebel Sahro which lies between the High Atlas and the Sahara Desert. This relitively unknown area is bursting full of amazing monolthic granite peaks and spires but the trekking is relitively easy. Our two week trekking holiday starts in Marrakesh where we meet the local trekking support team of cooks and mule herders. 

All tents and cooking equipment is carried on ahead so we only have to carry a small day sack every day. We have no need to even carry our lunch!
